A OVER 200 YEARS OLD WOODEN CHURCH BURNED DOWN COMPLETELY -
Only the Kaso safe survived !

A over two hundred years old wooden church was completely destroyed by the fire. The fire intensity was also influenced remarkably by the flammable liquids involved in the fire. The safe was taken away from the church ruins after the fire to the KASO factory where it's condition was evalutated. The safe's surface was damaged by the fire, however that did not prevent from the opening of the safe and the safe was opened by its own keys so the safe's lock and locking mechanism were still working.

All the church collections stored in the safe survieved the fire. In the safe were also stored a couple of wine bottles and three collection bags containing collections from previous church events. The Kaso AKK-230 safe that survived in the fire was manufactured in Kaso in 1980's. The AKK-200 series were tested to 90 P according to NT Fire 017.
